Current Collision
Energy. Chaos. Contact.
The train barreled through the storm, its steel frame rattling as thunder growled overhead. Deep in the cargo hold, among wooden crates stamped with *Zephyr Innovations*, something stirred — a creature which had laid hidden in shadows, its iridescent skin pulsing with unearthly energy.
Its name was “Xyra”, an alien traveler, stranded on Earth after an experiment gone wrong. It had hitched a ride on this train, drawn to the Tesla coil hidden in the largest crate — its last hope to restore the energy it needed to communicate with its people.
Outside, the storm raged. A bolt of lightning cracked the sky, striking the locomotive’s smokestack. Sparks showered. The train lurched, wheels shrieking against wet rails. With a deafening crash, the engine derailed, flipping cars like tin toys.
The Tesla coil’s crate shattered. Glass tubes, copper wires, and electromagnetic coils spilled onto the ground. Power hummed in the air, the storm feeding the exposed device.
Xyra emerged from the wreckage, its translucent tendrils reaching toward the machine. It pulsed, synchronizing with the storm’s fury. The Tesla coil ignited, arcing electricity into the sky, creating a beacon of impossible energy.
