The Rambling Old Man
Just Telling It As It Is
There’s a character, quite the sight,
With makeup that’s orange, so bright,
He rambles and raves, his words all askew,
Spewing nonsense, as old men do.
His face is a canvas, a clownish display,
A fashion statement gone astray,
He struts, and he preens, with nary a care,
Oblivious to the world’s bewildered stare.
The words that he utters, a jumbled mess,
Defy all logic, leave us in distress,
Yet he stands tall, his ego inflates,
Convinced by his opinions, the world should debate.
Oh, the rambling old man, with his orange-toned face,
A spectacle that leaves us in a state of disgrace,
We chuckle and sigh as he continues his rant,
Wishing he’d just zip his lip, and give us a break, if he can.
