She strolled into Robbie’s Waffle House, head held high, wearing nothing but a sly grin and a long unbuttoned trench-coat. The few patrons scattered throughout the dimly-lit diner couldn’t help but gawk as she confidently approached the counter.

Sitting down on a worn vinyl stool, she caught the eye of a bewildered waitress and casually placed her order. “Two eggs — basted, with a side of bacon and a bowl of fresh strawberries. Oh, and give me a carafe of your finest coffee.”

As the waitress scurried off to put in the peculiar request, the woman nonchalantly pulled an iPad out of her coat and began tapping away. The other customers exchanged puzzled glances, unsure if this was some sort of bizarre performance art or a dare gone terribly wrong.

The waitress returned, carefully balancing the steaming carafe and mismatched dishware. “Um, here you go, ma’am.” She set down the order, eyeing the woman’s barely-covered figure with a mix of shock and secondhand embarrassment.

Taking a long sip of coffee, the woman nodded in approval. “Excellent. Just what I needed.” She dug into her eggs with gusto, seemingly oblivious to the bewildered stares of the other patrons.

Once she had cleaned her plate, she stood up, tucked the iPad back into her coat, and strode out…
